About the Role

Mercy Hospital Southeast is seeking a board certified or board eligible OBGYN physician to join our busy group practice in Cape Girardeau, MO. Our team includes two physicians, three midwives, two advanced practitioners, and a dedicated support staff focused on quality patient care.

The practice features outstanding clinic space with a full Women’s Integrated Health program, including onsite Breast Health Services, diagnostic testing, and pelvic floor physical therapy. Additional amenities include:

  • 2 ultrasounds in-clinic with dedicated OBGYN sonographers
  • 2 procedure rooms in-clinic
  • 24/7 access to Mercy MFM for consults and transports
  • System-wide Epic EMR

Mercy Hospital Southeast delivers approximately 800 babies annually and is nationally recognized as a Best Maternity Care Hospital by Newsweek. The facility includes:

  • A Level III NICU with neonatologists comfortable caring for babies 28 weeks and above
  • OBGYN Hospitalist support for inpatient and emergencies
  • 18 private birthing suites in the Dennis B. Elrod OBGYN Center (birth and recovery in the same room)
  • 2 OR suites on labor and delivery
  • 24-hour in-house anesthesia
  • 2 Da Vinci Robots

Pay

  • 2-year income guarantee of $450,000 with a $200,000 recruitment incentive
  • 1:6 call schedule
  • Up to $75,000 in student loan reimbursement
  • Up to $20,000 in relocation assistance
  • Student Loan Forgiveness and Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility
