6065H - Logistics Clerk I (Hourly)

Summary Of Duties

• Puts together picking and packing slips for customer orders.
• Pulls products to fill customer orders, verifying the accuracy of the slips.
• Weighs packages and applies shipping and tracking labels according to the order method.
• Packages sample orders and prepares special orders for shipment.
• Stocks various products in the warehouse, ensuring organization, cleanliness, and correct location of packages.
• Performs various warehouse and shipping tasks as needed.

Essential Physical/Environmental Demands

• Lifting: Not to exceed 50 lbs. (local practice may apply).
• Sitting, Standing, Bending.
• Writing, Reading, Field of Vision/Peripheral, Fine Motor Skills.
• Noise.

Summary Of Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma equivalent.
• Three months of work experience.
• Ability to be neat and organized, paying close attention to detail.
• Capable of working under strict time constraints and meeting deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated computer skills, preferably in spreadsheets, word processing, databases, and other applicable software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience (three months preferred).

Competencies

• Picking/packing slip printing.
• Product retrieval/order filling/picking and packing slip verification.
• Package weighing/label placement.
• Sample order packaging/shipment preparation/shipment method verification.
• Product stocking.
