Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to clients
• Prepare meals
• Perform light housekeeping
• Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide transportation (valid driver’s license required)
• Promote positive, supportive, and respectful communication with patients, families, and other employees
• Create an environment that respects patient privacy and property
• Demonstrate effective time management skills
• Report unsafe conditions, problems, and observations to supervisor
• Attend required in-services to demonstrate commitment, professional growth, and competency
• Promote the Right at Home philosophy and administrative policies to ensure quality of care

Requirements

• Willing to drive at least 30 minutes to arrive at a client’s home
