Responsibilities
- Coordinate the planning and execution of 56 events, retreats, camps, and special programs.
- Manage event registrations, logistics, facility requests, purchasing requests, and ministry timelines.
- Support operational details before, during, and after ministry events.
- Ensure event-related administrative processes are completed accurately and on time.
- Attend and support 56 ministry events as needed.
- Coordinate communication to students, parents, and volunteers within 56 Ministry.
- Aid in developing communication schedules and messaging through email, text, social media, website, and print materials.
- Manage communication workflows through Planning Center and REALM.
- Respond to ministry inquiries and provide timely follow-up.
- Maintain Planning Center, REALM, attendance records, reporting, and ministry databases.
- Generate ministry reports and participation metrics.
- Manage ministry calendars and scheduling.
- Ensure forms, registrations, printed materials, and ministry resources are completed accurately and on time.
- Recruit, onboard, train, schedule, and retain a 56 office volunteer team.
- Support volunteer communication, organization, and engagement efforts.
- Provide encouragement and recognition to volunteer team members.
- Assist with expense tracking, reimbursements, and event-specific budgets.
- Track action items and support follow-through on assigned projects.
- Champion and embody The Bible Chapel's mission of developing followers of Jesus Christ.
- Maintain regular attendance and participation in church services, meetings, activities, staff functions, and ministry events as required.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of 56.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate is a mature believer in Jesus Christ who agrees with the beliefs and teachings of The Bible Chapel and has a passion for discipling students and families.
- Possesses strong organizational, administrative, communication, and project management skills, along with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and willing to become proficient in Planning Center, REALM, and other ministry software.
- A collaborative, process-oriented leader capable of recruiting, training, and retaining volunteers.
- A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not required.
