Coral Shores High School is seeking a paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year.
About the role
Paraprofessionals work collaboratively with teachers to support classroom activities, assist students with individual learning needs (including those with special needs, learning difficulties, or language barriers), and complete related tasks. The role is vital in ensuring a smooth and effective learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Support teachers by assisting with classroom activities
- Help students with individual learning needs
- Supervise and complete tasks for teachers
Requirements
- Associate degree or
- 60 college credits or
- High school diploma + passing score of 450 or higher on the Paraprofessional Assessment Test
Pay
Starting hourly pay: $20.93+ (based on years of full-time, verified, directly related experience working with students).
- Associate degree: $1,200 annual supplement
- Bachelor’s degree: $1,500 annual supplement
- Master’s or doctorate degree: $1,800 annual supplement
