About the role

The PM Sorter sorts and separates freight by destination, weight, size, and shape to meet client delivery schedules. This position is based in a warehouse environment at the Retail - Lachine location.

Responsibilities

• Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks
• Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load-out
• Load freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer
• Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
• Manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
• Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery

• No prior experience necessary
• No language requirements for this position
