About the role
We're looking for a dedicated and experienced Weekend RN Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and support during weekend operations. In this role, you'll oversee nursing staff, ensure high-quality resident care, respond to clinical needs, and help maintain the exceptional standards that earned our deficiency-free survey.
Responsibilities
- Provide shift leadership and oversight of nursing staff to ensure safe, high-quality resident care
- Supervise and support RNs, LPNs, and CNAs with daily assignments, guidance, and problem-solving
- Perform resident assessments and respond to changes in condition, incidents, or emergencies
- Ensure physician orders, care plans, and treatments are carried out appropriately
- Monitor and ensure accurate, timely documentation in the medical record
- Administer medications and treatments as needed in accordance with the scope of practice
- Conduct rounds on residents and staff to monitor care delivery and address concerns
- Serve as a clinical resource and point of contact for staff, residents, and families during the shift
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to support resident outcomes
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and state/federal regulations
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed
- Address and help resolve resident, family, or staff concerns in a professional manner
- Step in to provide direct patient care and support the floor as needed
Requirements
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and currently licensed by the State
- At least one year of experience as an RN in a Long-Term Care setting is preferred
