477 Case Manager

About the role

The Reno-Sparks Indian Colony is seeking a 477 Case Manager to join a dynamic team dedicated to making a positive impact in the community. This onsite position involves direct interaction with individuals and families, addressing their needs and empowering them toward self-sufficiency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct education and employment assessments
• Maintain and document Individual Employability Plans or Individual Service Plans
• Manage and maintain 477 program services client files and documents
• Submit monthly narrative and/or statistical reports
• Develop and monitor client progress
• Assist in identifying referral resources for clients
• Provide orientation on 477 Program services and compliance standards
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Establish and maintain effective working relations with various Tribal and local agencies
• Work with individuals of diverse backgrounds
• Complete pre-employment background checks and drug screens

Requirements

• High school diploma and AA degree required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Two years paid work experience in case management in areas of workforce development, job placement, or education and training services
• Ability to interpret and comply with applicable state and federal laws and regulations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Computer literacy and proficiency in various software programs
• Valid Nevada driver’s license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Passing a pre-employment criminal background check
• Passing a drug screen
• Verification of professional references

Benefits

Competitive salary ranging from $23.91 to $29.40 per hour, depending on experience. Additional benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Life Insurance, and Paid Time Off.
