About the Role

This position supports the leasing and management of commercial real estate properties within the Greater Victoria region, working with prospective tenants and current lessees to facilitate smooth leasing processes and occupancy.

Responsibilities

• Manage leasing inquiries and showings for available commercial spaces
• Prepare and process lease documentation and agreements
• Coordinate with property management and maintenance teams to ensure tenant satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records of leasing activity, vacancies, and tenant communications
• Assist in market research and competitive analysis for commercial properties in Greater Victoria
• Support marketing efforts for available spaces, including listings and promotional materials

Requirements

• Previous experience in commercial real estate leasing, property management, or related field
• Strong knowledge of commercial lease structures and local real estate regulations
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office suite
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for property showings
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings or weekends for showings

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in business, real estate, or a related discipline
• Real estate license (or willingness to obtain within the first 90 days of employment)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial leasing or sales
• Familiarity with the Greater Victoria commercial real estate market
