1099/C2C only, 6-month contract (strong likelihood of extension), hybrid (3 days/week), 40 hours per week at $55–$65/hour (C2C or 1099), based on experience. Start date: September 2026. Standard U.S. business hours, heavy Slack collaboration, laptop provided. Portfolio required.

About the role

As a Program Manager, Learning Experiences, you will lead the strategy, development, and delivery of impactful learning journeys that enable Experts to build foundational tax and bookkeeping knowledge for entry-level roles. You will oversee learning programs from concept through execution, ensuring learners gain the essential skills, product knowledge, and troubleshooting expertise needed to succeed. Responsibilities

  • Learning Champion:

    • Strategically align learning offerings with business strategy to accelerate key initiatives.

    • Apply deep empathy and customer obsession to address stakeholder needs through impactful learning solutions.
  • Learning Experience Innovator:
    • Apply advanced instructional design methodologies, including needs analysis, to define measurable performance-based learning outcomes.
    • Leverage design thinking and rapid prototyping to develop cutting-edge solutions addressing learner challenges.
    • Architect engaging, accessible learning content catering to diverse learning styles and accessibility needs.
    • Establish efficient, sustainable processes for content management and curation.
    • Partner with the broader learning community to explore innovative learning technologies and capabilities.
  • Data and Technology Strategist:
    • Analyze learning data to generate actionable insights and drive measurable improvements in learning effectiveness.
    • Extract trends from learning data to refine and optimize the learner journey.
    • Communicate complex data insights through compelling narratives and visualizations.
    • Maintain awareness of the L&D technology stack (e.g., Degreed, Docebo, Credly) and identify opportunities to enhance learner experiences.
    • Possess a solid understanding of the SaaS industry and learning platform landscape, with curiosity for emerging technologies (e.g., AI, VR, adaptive practice).
  • Learning Program Execution & Coordination:
    • Drive the successful launch and delivery of new learning initiatives, certifications, and courses.
    • Manage project timelines, task tracking systems, and operational checklists for flawless execution.
    • Partner with curriculum developers, product marketers, and learning experience designers for cohesive solutions.
  • Systems & Tools:
    • Administer Learning Management Systems (e.g., Docebo, Thinkific, Moodle, Intellum) to ensure optimal functionality.
    • Maintain accuracy of learner records, course assets, and program documentation.
    • Generate reports and track KPIs related to learner engagement, completion rates, and effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Serve as a trusted advisor between internal teams (product, marketing, customer success).
    • Communicate program updates, challenges, and milestones proactively.
    • Address operational issues and escalate complex matters for timely resolution.
    • Respond promptly to learner inquiries and provide excellent support.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify operational bottlenecks and propose scalable solutions.
    • Contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and promote best practices.
    • Solicit, monitor, and analyze learner feedback to enhance learning delivery and content.

Requirements

  • 5+ years managing complex, cross-functional programs within a matrixed organization.
  • Ability to operate autonomously and engage effectively with senior leadership.
  • Proven track record of data-driven decision-making in dynamic environments.
  • Deep understanding of adult learning theories, knowledge retention, and current learning trends.
  • Experience designing and delivering learning programs with quantifiable business outcomes.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills with geographically dispersed, virtual teams.
  • Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies and structured project planning.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in learning programs for customer support functions is highly desired.
  • Familiarity with tax preparation, accounting, or financial services is highly desired.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or Business preferred.

Pay

$55–$65/hour (C2C or 1099), based on experience.

Schedule

40 hours per week, standard U.S. business hours. Hybrid (3 days/week in office). Start date: September 2026.
