About the role

To facilitate student success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills through implementing district approved curriculum.

To document teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes.

To address specific educational needs of individual students and create a flexible, safe and optimal learning environment.

To provide feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.

Requirements

• One of the approved licenses for this classroom: 250: B-3 Early Childhood, 251: 251 Birth-PreK Early Childhood Education, 252: PreK-3 Early Childhood Education, 400: PreK-12 Special Education, 408: PreK-12 Lifetime Special Education

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of child development and learning theories.
• Experience working with diverse populations.

Skills

• Effective classroom management skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
• Proficiency in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
