Job Responsibilities
- Perform all duties of the Lineman Classification, including work on overhead and underground electric distribution and transmission systems.
- Provide quality customer service.
- Be self-motivated and possess a positive attitude.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Possess a degree/diploma from an accepted Line School.
- Meet driver qualification requirements, including the possession of a valid Commercial Class A Driver's License.
- Be physically capable of performing all aspects of electric overhead and underground distribution construction, operations, and maintenance work.
- Have good communication and teamwork skills.
- Be a 3rd Step Apprentice Lineman or higher.
- Demonstrate a commitment to work safely and productively.
Special Requirements
- Requires participation in after-hours emergency call-outs.
- Lives within a 20-mile radius of the assigned Service Center.
Pay
The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $43.59 to $62.27 per hour.
