What You’ll Do

• Break down drums and materials across various work areas by safely separating materials for processing or disposal
• Change and replace drums or gaylords to ensure containers are swapped efficiently and production operations continue without interruption
• Collect and transport plant waste to designated disposal areas
• Load and manage recyclable materials to ensure proper segregation and disposal
• Unload and stage pallets and gaylords to assist with receiving and material staging
• Inspect skids and pallets to determine whether they can be reused or require disposal
• Safely dispose of wastewater in designated areas following environmental procedures
• Maintain plant cleanliness through sweeping, dusting, and general housekeeping to support 5S standards
• Empty dust collectors and ventilator units and prepare waste for proper disposal
• Fill oil containers for operators and distribute materials needed to support production activities

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• This is a physically demanding role performed in a manufacturing environment
• The Position Requires Work in an industrial setting with exposure to fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, and moving machinery
• Standing for most of an 8-hour shift with frequent walking, reaching, and handling materials
• Climbing, kneeling, crouching, or balancing may be required occasionally
• Lifting up to 50 lbs. and frequent lifting up to 100 lbs. may be necessary
• Routine use of hand tools, cleaning equipment, and material handling equipment
• Strict adherence to PPE and safety procedures
