3rd Shift Supervisor

About the role

The Residential Shift Supervisor at Cherry Health provides shift oversight, direction, and support to Residential Care Coordinators on each shift. This role oversees the supervision, training, and development of the Residential Care Coordinators, and ensures daily operational oversight of the RCC Department.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to all Residential Care Coordinators assigned to the designated shift.
• Responsible for Timecard approval and approval or denial of PTO requests submitted by direct reports.
• Cookordinate/conduct monthly RCC meetings according to the assigned shift and attend monthly All Staff Meetings.
• Ensure staffing and supply expenditures are within budgetary guidelines.
• Provide narrative and statistical reports as assigned.
• Oversee the admission, orientation, supervision, and discharge of program residents.
• Oversee the administration of discipline for infractions of facility rules and regulations by residents.
• Oversee randomly scheduled facility and client searches.
• Ensure that residents meet all scheduled activities and appointments daily.
• Report all concerning and/or atypical circumstances to the Site Manager immediately.
• Assist with after-hours on-call emergency response as assigned by the Site Manager.
• Oversee/coordinate urine drops assigned to Residential Care Coordinators; prepare urine billing, order urine test cups, and breathalyzer tubes.
• Oversee fingerprinting of both staff, new hires, and new resident admissions.
• Oversee the distribution of resident mail, meals, and bus tickets.
• Monitor daily sanitation of resident rooms and building.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships and work collaboratively with CTC staff and Administration.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.

• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of program services, resident needs, and management techniques.
• Demonstrate ability to coordinate services with other community and client net resources.
• Have a valid and clean Michigan driver’s license and access to transportation for the performance of job duties.
• Proficient computer skills.
