3rd Shift Sanitor

Shift: 10:00 PM-6:30 AM | Hourly Rate: $21.47 + $0.75 shift differential

About the role

Functions of this position include cleaning, maintaining, and sanitizing production tools, equipment, and machinery, as well as the area around production lines. Tasks are performed promptly according to a set schedule and in priority or emergency situations while observing all safety regulations, ensuring GMP and quality standards are met and maintained. You will report to a Sanitation Supervisor and work on-site in Macon, MO.

Responsibilities

• Obtain work schedule and daily production paperwork and prepare for operations.
• Ensure all necessary tools, equipment, cleaning supplies, and materials are available.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and check equipment to be used in daily operations to ensure all safety devices are functioning properly.
• Perform lock-out tag-out procedures.
• Collect waste and other materials and dispose of them.
• Pull, scrape, shovel, and dump materials.
• Use chemicals as required.
• Clean equipment and work areas, including the use of high-pressure water hoses.
• Perform general housekeeping tasks.

Requirements

• Prefer at least one year of manufacturing employment in work history.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Background screen required.
• Post-offer drug screen required.
• Ability to work any shift or work week.
• Overtime availability based on company needs.
