Responsibilities
- Lead by example and champion a people-first safety culture.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment where employees feel valued and supported.
- Support onboarding and training of new employees while providing ongoing coaching and feedback to team members.
- Reinforce compliance with company policies, procedures, and standard work practices.
- Monitor daily production activities to help ensure safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency goals are met.
- Communicate shift performance, trends, and concerns through established communication processes.
- Partner with supervisors and leadership to align staffing, resources, and materials with production demands.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and help implement sustainable solutions using Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Proactively address and escalate issues that could impact safety, quality, delivery, or employee morale.
- Assist with production activities as needed to support team and business objectives.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
- Previous experience in a lead, team lead, trainer, or supervisory capacity.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
