About the role
Receive and perform work assignments, operate equipment to assemble, inspect, and evaluate parts, document painting application, and follow safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain a variety of equipment to assemble, inspect, and evaluate parts per accepted Siemens or industry standards.
- Operate blade handling equipment as needed.
- Document painting application as required.
- Work with or under the direction of managers and engineers, follow all applicable specifications and procedures regarding the performance of shop operations.
- Use all required safety equipment and follow established safety procedures.
- Support and apply team concepts in daily activities.
- Keep work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
- Certify on painting requirements and specifications.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, passing score on General Aptitude test (GED).
- Experience: Previous paint application experience preferred.
- Physical ability: Ability to lift 50lbs., and work standing for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
- Legal authorization for employment in the United States.
Skills
- Equipment specific training requirements.
- Forklift and crane licenses.
