Job Summary
Perform a wide variety of mechanical and electrical maintenance work of a skilled and complex nature. Install, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and plant facilities necessary for satisfactory operation of equipment and processes. This position is moderately physical.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic and combustion malfunctions and operating difficulties.
- Determine repair procedures and implement those repairs that will prevent reoccurrence.
- Navigate and interpret ladder logic in SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix software for troubleshooting equipment faults.
- Modify positions and diagnose problems on ABB robots such as models M94, M98, M2000, M2600, and M6700.
- Install, move, and align new and existing equipment.
- Set up and operate various types of machine shop equipment with a moderate degree of accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform both gas and electric welding operations.
- Complete related machine repair records, perform associated handling duties, and maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.
- Perform all necessary preventive and proactive tasks on plant equipment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervision and/or designated team leader.
Qualifications
- Can navigate and interpret ladder logic in SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix software for troubleshooting equipment faults.
- Can modify positions and diagnose problems on ABB robots.
- Models M94, M98, M2000, M2600, and M6700.
- Performs both gas and electric welding operations.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic and combustion malfunctions and operating difficulties.
- Determine repair procedures and implement those repairs that will prevent reoccurrence.
- Experience required: 4 years of related experience in Allen Bradley, Hydraulics, Robotics, and Welding.
- Experience in troubleshooting die casting machine cells through the use of PLC's and electrical and hydraulic schematics.

Benefits
- Pay rate up to $37.00/HR depending on the candidate's skill set and experience.
- Sign on bonus is available effective upon hire or conversion with the signing of a promissory note for 1 year.
