Job Summary

Perform a wide variety of mechanical and electrical maintenance work of a skilled and complex nature. Install, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and plant facilities necessary for satisfactory operation of equipment and processes. This position is moderately physical.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic and combustion malfunctions and operating difficulties.
• Determine repair procedures and implement those repairs that will prevent reoccurrence.
• Navigate and interpret ladder logic in SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix software for troubleshooting equipment faults.
• Modify positions and diagnose problems on ABB robots such as models M94, M98, M2000, M2600, and M6700.
• Install, move, and align new and existing equipment.
• Set up and operate various types of machine shop equipment with a moderate degree of accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform both gas and electric welding operations.
• Complete related machine repair records, perform associated handling duties, and maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.
• Perform all necessary preventive and proactive tasks on plant equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervision and/or designated team leader.

Qualifications

• Can navigate and interpret ladder logic in SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix software for troubleshooting equipment faults.
• Can modify positions and diagnose problems on ABB robots.
• Models M94, M98, M2000, M2600, and M6700.
• Performs both gas and electric welding operations.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic and combustion malfunctions and operating difficulties.
• Determine repair procedures and implement those repairs that will prevent reoccurrence.
• Experience required: 4 years of related experience in Allen Bradley, Hydraulics, Robotics, and Welding.
• Experience in troubleshooting die casting machine cells through the use of PLC's and electrical and hydraulic schematics.

Benefits

• Pay rate up to $37.00/HR depending on the candidate's skill set and experience.
• Sign on bonus is available effective upon hire or conversion with the signing of a promissory note for 1 year.
