Description Position Summary: As a Machine Maintenance Technician II, you will play a critical role in our organization by ensuring the proper functioning, reliability, and longevity of Astemo's machinery and equipment. Your primary responsibilities will be to perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and carry out repairs in order to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency and quality. This role will be focused within the new IPM Department on 3rd Shift. Job Responsibilities Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on a variety of machines and equipment, according to maintenance schedules and guidelinesReplace or repair defective parts such as; belts, bearings, motors, or sensorsIdentify and diagnose mechanical, electrical problems or abnormalities in the machinesCollaborate with team members and team leads to analyze and resolve complex technical problemsCalibrate and align machinery to ensure optimal performance and accuracyMaintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usedAdhere to safety protocols and guidelines when working with the machinery, as well as comply with industry regulations and standards to ensure equipment is operating within legal and safety parametersProvide technical support to production teams to minimize operational disruptions Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, And Skills) High School Diploma or GEDMinimum of 3 years work-related experience.Knowledge of computer systems and spreadsheets necessary to perform job dutiesKnowledge of both high and low voltages AC & DC Preferred Qualifications PLC troubleshooting experienceRobot teaching and programming experience Skills And Abilities Ability to promote and carry out the Astemo philosophyProven ability to make sound business decisions, exercises good judgement and be highly motivatedExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh level of accuracyMaintains clean and orderly work environment Safety And Environmental Management Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations.
