3rd shift Maintenance Supervisor

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leading, coaching, directing, and supporting maintenance technicians, tool makers, electricians, skilled and non-skilled associates, across shift.
• Oversight of the on-time completion of machine and facility preventive maintenance.
• Planning, scheduling, and assigning preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Maintaining equipment uptime and reducing production downtime.
• Cross-department coordination with production, engineering, and outside contractors.
• Continuous development of department personnel's skills and capabilities.
• Ensuring compliance with business system policies and procedures, including environmental, health, & safety, and published operating standards.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

• Average of 4 years' experience working in a technical or Journeyman environment (preferred).
• 5 years of maintenance experience, with supervisory experience (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems (motors, PLCs, controls), hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Supports plant goals for safety, quality, cost, and productivity.
• Proficiency in MS Office products.

LOCATION AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

This role is based in Lexington, OH and requires minimal to no travel.
