3rd Shift Maintenance Supervisor – 1 Automotive Supplier

As a trusted Tier 1 supplier in the automotive industry, we’re passionate about innovation, quality, and efficiency. Our Arlington, TX facility needs a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead a diverse team and keep our operations running at full capacity.

About the role

We’re looking for a strategic thinker with a knack for coordinating skilled trades to supervise our 3rd shift maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Mechanics, MRO, and Janitors on shifts.
• Manage fleet vehicles and long-term car rentals as needed.
• Oversee on-site contractors and conduct nightly security checks.
• Conduct skilled trade testing and prioritize work order requests.
• Supervise employees in completing maintenance and electrical repairs safely and efficiently.
• Drive world-class preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure maximum equipment uptime.
• Ensure employee compliance with Lockout Tagout (LOT) for safety.

Requirements

• Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of quality procedures and a strong attention to detail.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, ideally automotive.
• Excellent judgment, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills, particularly in analytics and hydraulics.
• Ability to multi-task and manage competing demands under pressure.
