Schedule
The role is 3rd shift, onsite full time and based at our Bardstown, Kentucky location. Schedule: 11:00pm - 7:00am Sunday night - Friday morning (Periodic Overtime on Saturday and Sunday as required).
About the role
The 3rd Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine repairs and maintain all equipment to enhance efficiency and prevent malfunctions that could lead to production downtime and costly repairs
- Troubleshoot malfunctions and locate source of problems by examining equipment and mechanical devices
- Aid in line changes and process improvements
- Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop equipment
- Clean equipment, lubricate moving parts, change fluids, modify equipment and replace parts and components as required
- Maintain records of all maintenance activities
- Conduct preventive maintenance measures on structures, equipment, electrical, plumbing as well as facilities
- Control downtime by informing production employees of routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitor compliance
- Support and contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results and training production employees on efficient operation and basic routine maintenance procedures
- Maintain positive work environment by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with co-workers, customers, clients and management
- Maintain safe and clean work environment
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical, Electrical or related trade and minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial maintenance technician role required
- Maintenance Journeyman's Card/Certificate preferred
- Manufacturing experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience strongly preferred
- Highly motivated, energetic, and reliable
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance techniques
Skills
- Working knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques

Starting Pay
$32.60/hour plus .25 shift differential
