3rd Shift Assembly Production Manager
About the role
In this role, you will lead a team in improving processes and systems and the manufacturing of the products produced in the facility. You will oversee and coordinate the activities of a complex production line, prepare schedules, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintains and monitors shop floor safety, aggressively eliminating unsafe processes.
- Affirmatively ensures fixtures, tooling, and processes are followed to meet production schedules.
- Determines priorities and sequences jobs.
- Schedules and prioritizes constrained resources, and adjusts staffing to meet flow and customer requirements.
- Determines and executes disciplinary action when appropriate.
- Procures and distributes production material to meet schedules.
- Ensures preventive maintenance is performed according to schedule.
- Implements, Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, Internal Certification, and others.
- Evaluates, assesses, identifies, and leads the deployment of workforce training.

Requirements
- Performance Management: Knowledge of successful performance management techniques; ability to apply organization's performance management system, practices, and tools to developing and improving individual, team, and organizational performance.
- Planning and Organizing: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.
- Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
- Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational, or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Pay
Pay Range: $89,210.00 - $133,810.00
Schedule
The primary location for this position is Sanford, NC. This 3rd Shift will be Monday-Thursday 7:30PM- 530AM. There is an 8% Shift Premium for 3rd Shift roles.
Additional Information
- The first weeks of training will be on 1st Shift from 600AM-400PM.
