$33.65/hour | Assistant Restaurant Manager | Weekly Pay!

About the role

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join a growing and dynamic team. The position is based at one of our client's locations in Honolulu, Waikiki, Kahala, or Moana, Hawaii.

Responsibilities

• Manage restaurant operations, including opening and closing shifts
• Use various systems, including OpenTable and NCR Silver Pro
• Manage budget, including labor, food, and direct operating costs
• Staff training, scheduling, and performance management
• Ensure the restaurant is in compliance with local alcohol beverage service requirements
• Handle guest complaint resolution and satisfaction
• Assist with POS and general office equipment management

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, event management, or related field
• Prior managerial experience in the restaurant industry
• Experience in a high-volume food service establishment
• Must be available to travel to other restaurant and/or bar sites for coverage as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hospitality, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred

Skills

• Familiarity with restaurant management software — OpenTable and NCR Silver Pro preferred
• Financial management skills required — ability to analyze labor, food, and direct operating costs
• Proficiency in spreadsheet, database, and word processing programs
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs; able to stand continuously throughout shift

Pay

Fixed rate of $33.65/hour

Schedule

Flexible scheduling required, including weekends and holidays to accommodate business levels. Must be able to report to work on time as scheduled (non‑remote role).
