(3101) Clinical Support Specialist

This position is grant funded and supports local transportation services and coordination activities related to program operation.

About the role

Responsible for a variety of transportation coordination duties, including coordinating between providers and agencies, providing available resources, and program reporting. Works closely with the Mobility Manager to ensure all individuals with transportation barriers and support needs are addressed.

Responsibilities

• Daily support for transportation services
• Monitor ride request referrals for appropriateness and eligibility
• Track service utilization and service data to report back to funding entities
• Participate in quarterly transportation service meetings with internal and external partners
• Complete at least monthly service reports
• Track and submit data for review
• Complete basic contact notes in the EHR related to transportation coordination
• Handle program billing and service reports in Excel
• Answer phones courteously and connect individuals with the correct staff person
• Operate general office equipment and perform clerical duties such as data entry and running reports
• Use multiple agency software, including SmartCare, Teams, and Excel
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Intermediate experience with Excel spreadsheets and reports
• Comfortable managing and reviewing data and program information
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of the Bluebonnet Trails geographical service area, including all available transportation resources
• Texas Driver’s License and maintain approved driving status throughout employment
• Ability to work with a variety of agencies and individuals

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual
• Previous transportation services work history

Schedule

• Part-time, 20 hours per week
• Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Primarily remote work from home once established

Pay

$18.00 per hour

Any BTCS location in Bastrop, Burnet, Caldwell, Fayette, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Lee, or Williamson County.
