(3058) Crisis Clinician, Mobile Crisis Outreach Team, RP

Key Responsibilities

• Provides empathetic active listening and de-escalation
• Engages in person-centered safety planning, utilizing critical thinking and solution-focused problem solving
• Ensures crisis follow-up and relapse prevention occurs, providing support once the crisis has resolved
• Communicates effectively with people and families from diverse cultures and socio-economic backgrounds
• Facilitates and coordinates placement
• PARTNERS WITH FAMILIES, FIRST RESPONDERS, SCHOOLS, HOSPITALS, AND COMMUNITY AGENCIES
• Demonstrates skills and expertise using integrated computer database programs to access files and document services as well as the ability to organize and prioritize work assignments
• ability to work independently, collaboratively within a Team and assumes a flexible work schedule
• Assumes rotating on-call responsibilities, including after-hours, weekends, and holidays
• A daily stipend is offered for each day of on-call

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services. Comprehensive knowledge of mental health diagnoses, ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, recovery-focused environment. Minimum of two years of case management experience. Possesses a valid Texas Driver's License and maintains approved drivers’ status throughout employment.
• *If degree is not in Human Services, a minimum of 24 credits in a human services field.
• Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Human Services. Pursuit of clinical licensure in counseling, behavior analysis, family therapy, social work or a related field. Advanced licensure. Bilingual in ASL or Spanish. Experience in providing concurrent documentation. Licensure as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC).
