3-year post-doc position in marine natural product chemistry
About the role
The successful candidate will join a vibrant research team focused on marine natural products, specifically in the areas of marine biodiscovery and marine chemical ecology. The primary responsibilities include:
- Carrying out advanced computational metabolomics studies using molecular networking techniques.
- Isolating and structurally elucidating marine natural products from diverse microbial sources.
- Contributing to marine biodiversity research through innovative chemical ecology approaches.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have a PhD in marine natural product chemistry with significant hands-on experience in computational metabolomics and marine natural product isolation and structure elucidation. Expertise in marine microbial natural product chemistry is highly desirable.
Qualifications
Essential qualifications include:
- A PhD in marine natural product chemistry.
- Proven experience in computational metabolomics and marine natural product isolation and structure elucidation.
- Experience in marine microbial natural product chemistry is advantageous but not mandatory.
