Lecturer - Information and Cybersecurity

The School of Information at the University of California, Berkeley, invites applications for a pool of part-time, non-tenure track lecturers to teach online courses in the Master of Information and Cybersecurity (MICS) program.

• Exceptional instructors with professional and/or academic expertise required.
• Lead small, highly interactive sections of about 15 graduate students.
• Courses are pre-designed and structured, allowing for dynamic and engaging learning experiences.
• Focus on delivering valuable expertise to advance student outcomes.

Lecturer - Data Science

The School of Information at the University of California, Berkeley, invites applications for a pool of part-time, non-tenure track lecturers to teach online courses in the Master of Information and Data Science (MIDS) program.

• Exceptional instructors with professional and/or academic expertise required.
• Lead small, highly interactive sections of around 15 graduate students.
• Courses are pre-designed and structured, allowing for dynamic and engaging learning experiences.
• Provide valuable expertise to enhance student outcomes.

Lecturer - Information Management

The School of Information at the University of California, Berkeley, invites applications for a pool of part-time, non-tenure track lecturers to teach on-campus courses in the Master of Information Management and Systems.

• Exceptional instructors with professional and/or academic expertise required.
• Teach courses for I School doctoral and master’s level students and other UC Berkeley graduate students in related fields, as well as undergraduate courses.
• Screening of applicants is ongoing and will continue as needed.
• Positions vary from semester to semester, depending on the needs of the School.
• Appointments may be renewable based on need, funding, and performance.
• This is a primarily in-person role that typically requires physical presence on the UC Berkeley campus, although alternative modalities may be authorized for instruction when conditions require.
