2nd Shift Welding Team Lead

About the role

MORryde is seeking a Welding Team Leader to lead their 2nd Shift Weld Department. The ideal candidate will support daily operations, execute the production schedule, train and mentor team members, and drive continuous improvement within the department.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations and execute the production schedule
• Train, mentor, and advise weld team members on proper welding practices, quality expectations, and department standards
• Assist with staffing, onboarding, training, and team development
• Monitor work quality, identify issues, and help correct problems before they impact customers
• Promote safe work habits, clean work areas, and organized department practices
• Communicate department needs, issues, and priorities clearly with supervisors and other departments
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production, and other departments to achieve company goals
• Help drive continuous improvement in quality, efficiency, organization, and accountability

Requirements

• Prior MIG or TIG welding experience
• Previous leadership experience preferred
