Holman has an outstanding opportunity for a Second Shift Welder to join our team in Huntington.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate components to complete a project, will include cutting, welding, drilling and other techniques
- Use various processes including cutting, welding (MIG), drilling, and possibly others to fabricate components as required to complete projects
- Conduct quality control checks on own work to ensure components meet required specifications and standards; perform inspections of welded joints and fabricated components to identify and rectify any defects
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in welding, preferably in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Competency in Steel/Galvanneal and Alum MIG processes, TIG welding is a plus
- Hands-on experience with cutting, drilling, and other fabrication techniques
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and practices in welding and fabrication environments
- Must be competent producing good welds while welding in flat and horizontal positions, uphill, downhill, and overhead welds
- Experience using cutting torch and plasma cutter preferred
- Ability to wear a respirator
- Must be able to perform within the established company standards, which include but are not limited to standard operating procedures, attendance, quality and performance
- Must pass a G1 weld test
- Must be able to pass a physical, drug test, and criminal background check prior to employment

Pay
Starting in the range of $20.00 - $25.25 USD per hour, depending on experience and shift.
Schedule
Second Shift: 2:00 PM to 12:30am Monday- Thursday
