2nd Shift Warehouse Supervisor

Pay Range: $76,000 - $95,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications

About the role

This Warehouse Supervisor is a member of the plant leadership team, responsible for the overall supervision of the warehouse and loading operation, including Stockers and Loaders. This position oversees between 20-25 employees, both Lead and regular warehouse employees, and ensures the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the warehouse and loading activities. The role supervises the 2nd shift, which runs Monday – Friday from 4:00pm – 1:00am. Flexibility is required to meet business and customer needs, including occasional Saturday work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the loading activities of Milgard products.
• Coordinate and schedule warehouse activities to meet and exceed customer expectations while optimizing loads and minimizing work hours.
• Review all paperwork to plan work activities, schedule personnel, and balance loads.
• Handle employee disciplinary issues, including coaching, verbal, and written warnings.
• Communicate effectively with staff and problem-solve to ensure optimal warehouse operations.
• Manage expense accounts for department personnel.
• Support the order fulfillment process by collaborating with inside sales representatives, production personnel, customer service, and credit.
• Interface with key departments including Production, Delivery, Human Resources, and other management team members.
• Create and execute MPS objectives; meet MPS commitments and work within MPS guidelines.
• Reflect Milgard business values and philosophy in all business interactions.
• Ensure safety of personnel and compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• High School diploma required; some college preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of related warehouse experience.
• Prior warehouse supervision and employee management experience.
• Warehouse supervision experience in a manufacturing environment highly desired.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, loading logistics, and employee management.
• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement practices (5S, Lean Manufacturing) desired.

Schedule

2nd shift: Monday – Friday, 4:00pm – 1:00am. Occasional Saturday work may be required.
