About the role

Full-time, second-shift VTL Machinist position in a clean, climate-controlled facility with top-tier equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and program Toshiba Vertical Turning Lathes (VTL) with precision and efficiency
• Set up complex jobs and ensure parts meet tight tolerances
• Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and tooling instructions
• Troubleshoot and optimize machine performance
• Collaborate with a team that values your knowledge and input

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience running and setting up VTL machines
• Strong knowledge of G-code and CNC programming
• Ability to work independently and solve complex machining challenges
• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement

Skills

Bonus points for:

• Experience with live tooling or multi-axis machines
• Work with large-diameter or heavy-part machining
• Comfort mentoring junior machinists
