2nd shift Truck Unloader (Truck dumper) 4AM-2PM

About the role

As a Truck Unloader, you are the cornerstone of our production process. You ensure the raw floor has enough material to run the manufacturing plant by coordinating with the Raw Loader Operator to prioritize loads. Responsibilities include jockeying trailers, tipping them with a truck tipper, maintaining logs of dumped trailers and yard inventory, cleaning the truck and dock area after dumping, and positioning trailers for the next routes. This is an active, hands-on role where safety, communication, and a strong work ethic are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Raw Loader Operator to determine which loads to dump next based on availability and production needs.
• Maintain a running log of trailers dumped and available inventory in the yard.
• Operate a truck tipper to unload trailers safely and efficiently.
• Jockey trailers in the yard and position them in the holding lot for readiness.
• Clean the Yard truck and dock area after dumping to meet customer requirements.
• Ensure a steady flow of raw material to maintain consistent production.
• Work safely and proactively in an outdoor, weather-exposed environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability and willingness to work safely outside in varying weather conditions.
• Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to handle, move, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic math skills and ability to accurately complete paperwork.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and attentiveness to safety.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with yard tractors or similar equipment.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural settings.

Pay

$21.03/hour.

Schedule

Full-time, 10-hour night shifts on a Monday–Saturday schedule. Flexibility to work days, nights, or weekends as needed is required, as the plant operates 24/7.
