2nd Shift Thermoplastic Technician - Fabrication

Shift: 4 days, 10 hours (3:00 PM – 1:30 AM)

Responsibilities

  • With direction, ensure accurate and timely production of products.
  • Efficiently package and label orders for shipping.
  • Adhere to work instructions for the bonding, gluing, and packaging of thermoplastic products.
  • Inspect products for defects and report any issues immediately.
  • Prioritize work with a sense of urgency based on patient and provider needs, in cooperation with production planning.
  • Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Receive and transfer products through internal software system.
  • Generate labels as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety and security procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and at least 1-year related experience and/or training.
  • Capability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Basic math skills and knowledge of units of measure.
  • Ability to solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality-minded.

Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
  • Occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 10-25 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, and peripheral vision.

Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
