About the Role

The 2nd Shift Fabrication Technician operates various tools and equipment to prepare parts, ensuring products are ready for the next phase of completion.

Responsibilities

  • Use hand and power tools to deburr and prep parts.
  • Read and understand prints.
  • Use measuring devices such as calipers, protractors, and squares.
  • Operate machines, including drill press, PEM inserting machine, and belt sanders.
  • Achieve production efficiency and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Rotate workstations according to business and production needs.
  • Adhere to work schedules and company policies regarding attendance, overtime, cell phone use, breaks, and smoking.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Works under the close direction of senior personnel.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds, including overhead lifting.

Work Environment

This role operates in a warehouse environment with elevated noise, dust, and activity. The warehouse is non-temperature-controlled, with potential for hot summers and cold winters. There is frequent exposure to moving parts. No travel is required.

Pay

$20.00–$23.00 per hour, including a $1.00 shift differential. Pay is distributed bi-weekly.

Schedule

2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m., Monday – Friday, with mandatory overtime when required.
