Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor CNC machines and other production equipment to manufacture medical components according to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make necessary adjustments to machinery as required.
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize workflow and improve production efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Document production activities and report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of new machinery and production techniques.
- Absorb and assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues and providing support in resolving technical challenges.
Qualifications
- Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred Education: Vocational program in machining or a related field.
- Required Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a medical device or precision machining industry.
- Experience: Operating and maintaining CNC machines and manual machining equipment; familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
