2nd Shift Swiss CNC Machinist

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor CNC machines and other production equipment to manufacture medical components according to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make necessary adjustments to machinery as required.
• Collaborate with the production team to optimize workflow and improve production efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Document production activities and report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of new machinery and production techniques.
• Absorb and assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues and providing support in resolving technical challenges.

Qualifications

• Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred Education: Vocational program in machining or a related field.
• Required Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a medical device or precision machining industry.
• Experience: Operating and maintaining CNC machines and manual machining equipment; familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
