2nd shift Supervisor

About the role

Supervise daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, loading/unloading trucks, stacking, picking, and palletizing finished products.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily work schedules of warehouse employees.
• Determine space requirements for storage and schedule delivery/distribution of products, parts, and accessories to meet customer requirements.
• Ensure all store material is organized and clearly identified.
• Maintain equipment, including company vehicles, in compliance with city, state, and federal laws.
• Enforce company work and safety rules, including proper handling and recording of hazardous materials.
• Monitor employee attendance, productivity, and performance; provide counseling as needed.
• Coordinate with warehouse and operations managers, telephone sales, and other supervisors on shipments, cut-off times, and merchandise shortages.
• Maintain records and reports, such as lost sales, error reports, and production reports.
• Recommend procedural changes to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of prior work experience in a warehouse-related field.
• Experience in a warehouse or distribution center, including material handling, inventory tracking, and providing work direction to teammates.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or equivalent experience.
• Bi-lingual skills preferred but not required.
