2nd Shift Skilled CNC Operator

About the role

The operator is responsible for complete knowledge and understanding of developing programs, loading programs, and modifying programs on personal computers involved in the operation of highly technical equipment. Also responsible for preventative maintenance as required.

The operator will work with engineers, vendor technicians, programmers, and will also train co-workers. The operator is highly skilled and can perform all operations required to fabricate and construct a diversified line of products to specifications by using drawings or prints.

Requires little supervision. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Complete knowledge and understanding of developing programs, loading programs, and modifying programs on personal computers involved in the operation of highly technical equipment.
• Preventative maintenance as required.
• Work with engineers, vendor technicians, programmers, and train co-workers.
• Fabricate and construct a diversified line of products to specifications by using drawings or prints.
• Handle product, materials, and equipment as needed.
• Ensure quality of the product and safe operation.

Requirements

• Highly skilled in operating and maintaining highly technical equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physical capability to handle product, materials, and equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic programming for laser or CNC equipment.

Skills

• Technical knowledge of personal computers and related equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Benefits

• Monday – Thursday 4x10 Schedule: $25.51 per hour, with a $1,000 bonus after 90 days of employment (subject to taxes).
