About the role

Taylor Corporation is looking for a Shipping Clerk to support our fulfillment operations. In this role, you will review, package, and prepare customer orders for shipment while maintaining accurate records and helping ensure orders ship safely and on time.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Review each order for quality and accuracy.
• Check in orders and prepare them for processing.
• Assemble, package, and prepare orders for shipment through parcel and less-than-truckload carriers.
• Use computer-based systems to prepare shipping documents and labels.
• Record shipment information, including weight, charges, and space availability.
• Complete shipping reports and maintain accurate shipping records.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and keep shipping equipment ready for use.
• Follow all safety requirements for the position.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
• Ability to regularly remain in a stationary position.
• Ability to continuously operate machinery and handle products, including printed materials.
• Ability to frequently move throughout the facility.
• Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and/or carry 25 pounds or more.

Qualifications

• Previous pick-and-pack or shipping experience (preferred).
• Experience using UPS and FedEx shipping software (preferred).

Schedule

2nd Shift: 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday

Pay

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $16. The actual base offered depends on qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
