About the Role

As a Shipper / Receiver at TE, you will perform all functions associated with material movement through the Distribution Center, including material handling, paperwork, and recordkeeping. You will operate powered order pickers, forklifts, turret trucks, electric/manual pallet jacks, stretch wrapping machines, laser scanners, and more. The role may require lifting up to 50 lbs and working at heights up to 30 ft. You will follow all Distribution Center procedures and standards to achieve total customer satisfaction while performing tasks accurately and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload trucks, interfacing with common carriers.
  • Sign bills of lading for incoming shipments and process IBL, packing lists for receipts from vendors using SAP.
  • Verify incoming product against documentation for accuracy, sort products, and prepare them for put away.
  • Receive product into SAP using barcode scanners or computers.
  • Put product away in available space by proper area/zone using order pickers, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and barcode scanners.
  • Break down and lump floor-loaded containers.
  • Pick products for customer orders, manufacturing orders, and sample requests using barcode scanners, pick tickets, shipping papers, order pickers, turret trucks, and manual or electric pallet jacks.
  • Perform other put away and pick duties, such as bin location audits, unit load and carton transfers.
  • Weigh or hand count quantities needed to fill customer orders, manufacturing orders, and sample requests.
  • Adhere to TE Connectivity’s Quality and Environmental, Health, and Safety Policy.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1-3 years of experience preferred.

Pay

Competitive base salary range: $33,200 – $49,800 (subject to change based on physical location and experience/qualification of the selected candidate). Total compensation includes base salary, incentives, and benefits.
