2nd Shift Security

Bilingual preferred. Shift: 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM (overtime as needed).

About the role

Randa Logistics is seeking candidates for a full-time night shift Distribution Center Security position. The Security position reports Monday-Friday and may work some Saturdays during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Occupy a post at the main entrance of our St. Rose Distribution Center.
• Track all visitors in and out of the facility; issue ID badges and ensure visitors sign in and out upon arrival and exit.
• Possess effective communication skills to interact with visitors, applicants, and employees at all levels of the organization.
• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; and ensuring no entry by unauthorized persons.
• Report any missing ID badges to HR.
• Monitor parking lot, reporting any vehicles not belonging to associates or other parking-related issues.
• Maintain cleanliness of security office and the area outside the office.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.

Requirements

• Able to sit, stand, and bend as needed for 8-10 hours per day.
• Able to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Able to calmly handle crisis situations as they arise.
• Must be timely.

Pay

$15 per hour.
