2nd Shift Seasonal Material Handler - $20/hour

Essential Job Functions

• Review pertinent information with the previous shift.
• Unload trucks and inventory product.
• Pick orders and load them onto trucks.
• Organize stacks of product on the shipping floor.
• Assist the employees in other areas.
• Neatly and accurately fill out all necessary documentation (Ex. HACCP – CTS).
• Maintain a safe neat and clean work area in accordance with GMP and Good House Keeping Practices (GHP’s).
• Must adhere to all GMP and Food Safety Policies and Practices.
• Communicate well with co-workers and supervisors.
• Follow all JSA guidelines.
• May be required to perform backup duties for Team Leader.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Equipment Used: Personal Protective Equipment (JSA’s), Powered hand jack, Forklift, Baskets/Dollies, Housekeeping Equipment.

• Standing and walking - Continuously

• Reaching or lifting 15lbs. to 30lbs. above shoulder level - Occasionally
• Pushing/pulling force - Continuously
• Lifting product weight of 10lbs. – 30lbs. - Occasionally
• Assuming awkward position - Rarely
• Forward bending - Frequently

Environment

• Work Conditions: 8-12 Hour shift.
• Breaks: 2 fifteen-minute breaks and one-half hour break.
• Overtime: Required.
• Environment: Noise levels will be minimal to moderate, and temperature will be controlled. Lighting is sufficient. There is a possibility of slippery footing.
