2nd Shift Material Handler - $21.70/hour

Responsibilities

• Breaks down, sorts, and stores all material, both incoming and outgoing, in the supermarket.
• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying items listed on production orders.
• Operates tuggers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery.
• Responsible for on-time delivery of material to production cells hourly.
• Must follow standard work for proper on-time material flow throughout the process.
• Performs any required cycle counts and inventory audits in timely manner.
• Must be willing to flex to other assigned team areas to help co-workers.
• Perform 5 S duties required to keep the area(s) clean and in order.
• Perform other similar duties as directed within the scope of the Materials team.

Requirements

Climate: Demanding, fast-paced environment where priorities change daily. Must be a self-motivated team player who can prioritize the daily workload and tasks with limited supervision. Must be able to troubleshoot issues as they arise. Physically demanding at times with some heavy lifting required.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP preferred but not required.
• Previous stock or inventory experience a plus.
• Previous experience operating a forklift or pallet jack a plus.
• Able to be flexible with hours based on demand.

Skills

• Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks independently.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.

Pay

$19.91 - $20.42 per hour, plus 9% shift differential, totaling $21.70/hr.

Schedule

2nd shift, Monday-Friday, 3:15pm-11:45pm
