2nd Shift Production Supervisor - Repair

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Supervises workers that operate production machinery, assemble items, perform quality control, or package goods for shipment
  • Schedule and assign tasks to workers, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Responsible for meeting or surpassing daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), with accurate reporting that consistently exceeds customer expectations
  • Deliver clear and concise information during shift transition meetings, ensuring the next shift is prepared for success
  • Provide first level of support for any escalated issue during work shift
  • Maintain consistent production quality by monitoring departmental performance metrics
  • Communicate effectively with management and customers to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met and issues are promptly resolved
  • Engages in employee relations initiatives, promptly addressing and resolving employee concerns to maintain a positive work environment
  • Aids in P&L forecasting and analysis, alongside labor planning and scheduling
  • Prepare and administer daily performance feedback and reporting as required
  • Cook up the flow of work through the department and ensure that department has sufficient levels of inventory to meet demand and is staffed appropriately
  • Provide training, motivation, and support to employees regarding company and departmental procedures, development opportunities, and departmental processes
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment for employees and visitors
  • Provide additional duties as assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports

Requirements

  • 1+ years of leadership experience, materials/distribution environment is preferred
  • Must have electronic repair experience
  • Capable problem-solving skills and decision-making capabilities, demonstrating a strategic approach with a focus on achieving results and fostering continuous improvement
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities, demonstrating effective verbal and written communication
  • Capacity to engage with customers in a professional manner
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred Skills And Experience

  • Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation
  • Supervising temporary staff
  • Experience working with UKG and Kronos
  • General knowledge of OSHA Standards
