2nd shift Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Selects and trains employees to effectively perform their required tasks
• Manages the day-to-day operations and area of responsibilities including, but not limited to, planning, scheduling, staffing and machine maintenance to meet customer schedules
• Mets or exceeds the assigned annual manufacturing budget
• Promotes Lean Manufacturing techniques while promoting and ensuring continuous improvement
• Promotes safety and safety accomplishments while working effectively with Safety Committee Members – including recognition where appropriate
• Keeps leadership informed of significant problems that jeopardize the achievement of objectives
• Manages assigned operation areas to meet production schedules to assure that products are shipped on time with due consideration for cost effectiveness and quality adherence
• Reduces OEM lead times to a level whereby market share can be increased

Required Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
• 3+ years of Manufacturing experience required
• Demonstrated prior experience in SAP and Kronos are a plus in addition to a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
