2nd Shift Production Supervisor (1147862)

About the role

Our client, an established injection molding manufacturer in Ashtabula County, is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Supervisor to lead 2nd shift production operations. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows the injection molding process inside and out — from machine and mold setup to troubleshooting and driving shift performance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support 2nd shift production staff, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency targets are met
• Oversee mold and machine set-ups, changeovers, and process adjustments
• Troubleshoot machine, mold, and process issues in real time to minimize downtime
• Monitor cycle times, scrap rates, and overall production quality
• Train, coach, and develop machine operators and set-up technicians
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to resolve recurring issues
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized production floor
• Communicate shift performance and handoff notes to plant leadership and the incoming shift

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in injection molding, including supervisory or lead experience (strong candidates with 2+ years will also be considered)
• Solid working knowledge of mold and machine set-up, process troubleshooting, and injection molding fundamentals
• Ability to read and interpret process sheets, work instructions, and quality specs
• Strong leadership and communication skills; comfortable managing a team on the floor
• Availability to work 2nd shift

Pay & Schedule

• Salary: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00 USD annually
• 2nd Shift: Monday – Saturday, 02:45–11:00 PM
• Location: Jefferson, OH
