2nd Shift Production Supervisor (1139744)

About the role

This role oversees day-to-day operations across Production and Packaging for an assigned shift, ensuring the team runs safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policy. The Supervisor leads a team of hourly employees — training, scheduling, coaching, and holding the line on quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 20–50 production/packaging/repack associates
• Champion a safe, hazard-free work environment and escalate any safety concerns promptly
• Hold the line on product quality, ensuring output meets company and customer specs
• Build strong team relationships and drive initiatives that keep morale and performance high
• Manage staffing to production schedules, including overtime and labor hour control
• Keep the workforce well-trained and up to speed on current procedures
• Translate company policy into clear guidance for the floor
• Identify and recommend improvements to production methods, equipment, and product quality
• Propose changes to workflows or equipment use that boost line/team efficiency
• Troubleshoot production and packaging issues alongside the team
• Maintain accurate HACCP process control documentation
• Keep a clean, sanitary, and safe production floor
• Cook closely with fellow supervisors and leads across departments
• Enforce Standard Operating Procedures and GMP compliance
• Take on other duties as needed

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED (Bachelor's degree a plus)
• 3+ years in a production supervisor role
• Food manufacturing background strongly preferred; experience with cooked/packaged products a big plus

Qualifications

• Comfort working within an ERP system
• Strong communication skills, including presenting to and fielding questions from stakeholders
• Solid Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities independently or as part of a team, on deadline
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Pay

$70,000.00 USD Annually - $80,000.00 USD Annually

Schedule

2nd Shift
Monday - Friday - 02:00pm-12:30am
Saturdays will be part of schedule some weeks as well.
