Production Maintenance Technician Role
- Provide Support to Production Lines by Troubleshooting Failures and Making Necessary Repairs
- Complete Assigned Work Orders and Preventative Maintenance Tasks Through SAP
- Participate in Rebuilds and Overhauls on Production Line and Support Equipment
- Aid in Parts Management by Ensuring Parts Are Checked Out of Stock and Communicating Any Deficiencies to the Parts Planner
- Communicate Consistently with Fellow Maintenance Staff Through End of Shift Reports
- Support Swire Manufacturing Continuous Improvement (SMCI) Process by Participating in Established Routines with Production Operators and Following Up on Top Causes of Downtime
- Maintain a Clean and Organized Workspace
- Follow Established Safety, Quality, and Environmental Policies, Practices, and Programs
- Operate with Technical Skill the SAP Computerized Maintenance Management System
- Operate and Monitor Equipment and Replenish Materials as Needed
- Quality Reviews of Equipment Assigned to Maintain Safety and Performance Standards
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Degree/Certificate
- Trade School Certification Preferred
- 2+ Years of Maintenance Experience
- Excellent Mechanical and Electrical Troubleshooting Skills
- Ability to Read Schematics
- Welding and Fabrication Experience
- Experience Working with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC Systems
- Ability to Learn New Software and Interfaces Quickly
- Strong Computer Skills
- Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning), Plumbing, Welding, Fabrication, Docks and Doors, Security Systems
- Knowledge of Manufacturing, Production Operators, and Industrial Technology Preferred
- Ability to Work Weekends and Holidays as Directed by the Business
- Ability to Lift 50 Pounds
