Responsibilities

• Assists the Printer in preparing and printing graphics, including loading ink, cleaning machines, troubleshooting technical problems, maintaining print equipment, and completing other assigned tasks.
• Follows safety procedures and practices outlined on the Safety Placard for each piece of equipment.
• Understands job traveler and printer’s schedule.
• Locates materials and inks.
• Turns on UV unit and sets curing rate.
• Aids in installing/tearing down screens on the press.
• Catches graphics off the conveyor belt and stacks neatly.
• Affixes assistance to the printer if there is a problem.
• Pre-sorts graphics and identifies bad graphics.
• Affixes assistance to the printer as required for the job.
• Moves printed graphics to the next station.

Work Environment

• Heated/cooled production atmosphere.
• Cement floor; anti-fatigue mats provided.
• Clean working environment.
• May be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration.
• Works with chemicals; PPE required at times.

Physical Demands

• Must reach Level 3 physical capacity test post-hire.
• Occasional walking, sitting, reaching across midline, pinching/picking, feeling, steps in/out of machine, climbing.
• Occasional lifting/lowering, carrying, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent changing position, reaching, handling.
• Constant standing.
• Exerts 20–50 lbs occasionally; 10–25 lbs frequently; negligible–10 lbs constantly.

Compensation/Expected Hours of Work

Compensation not provided. Full-time; Monday–Friday, minimum 8-hour days. Additional hours required to meet customer demands.
