2nd Shift Part Time Warehouse Associate, Refrigerated

Anticipated hourly range: $20.00 - $20.60 based on experience (includes shift differential). Pay is determined by geographical location, education, experience, skills, and internal pay equity.

About the role

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing and controlling manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This includes functions such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, and delivery. The role ensures the efficient flow of products from receipt to shipment for internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Comply with regulations concerning OSHA, DEA, FDA, and state/local authorities; adhere to cGMP guidelines.
• Apply acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks and learn new methods.
• Maintain appropriate licenses, training, and certifications.
• Work on routine assignments requiring problem resolution, typically reviewed by a supervisor.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to process orders, including picking, quality control checks, and sorting.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks, maintaining a clean work environment and complying with Environmental Health and Safety requirements.
• Perform other duties or participate in projects as assigned.

Expectations

• Demonstrate proficiency in assigned areas of responsibility, including material handling equipment certification if required.
• Accurately perform multiple operational tasks.
• Demonstrate basic material handling, packaging, and warehouse equipment skills.
• Perform warehouse operations functions within facility guidelines.
• Demonstrate effective oral communication skills.
• Work under moderate supervision, with regular review of output by a supervisor.
• Refer complex or unusual problems to a supervisor.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
• Radiofrequency (RF) scanner and/or voice-to-pick experience highly preferred.
• Ability to consistently lift 80 lbs and bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for an entire shift of 8+ hours.
• Comfort working at heights of 20-30 ft regularly.
• Ability to work overtime with little or no advance notice.
• Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate into various warehouse areas.
• Able and willing to work in freezer conditions (5°F) to support vaccine order picking and packing when needed.
• Willingness to work in refrigerated conditions (36°F-42°F) for up to 8 hours or longer.

Schedule

Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
